I have a 1916 .25 caliber Fabrique National D'armesBaby Browning Handgun which has a serial number that starts 144XXX. Can anyone tell me what it may be worth?
You can visit
http://www.browning.com/services/dategun/detail.asp?id=6 You can
see by your serial # 281914 that your gun was made in the year
1963. Depending on the condition of the blued or nickel finish the
gun could be worth around $500 in mint condition. If the gun shows
wear from over the years it could be worth $400. For example: I
just purchased a .25 Browning Baby yesterday from a pawn shop for
$475 plus tax. He wanted $499 plus tax. (was able to talk him down
$25). The gun is in excellant condition! Looks brand new. From my
serial # it shows that my Baby was built in 1966. Keep in mind that
the early 60's models in mint condition have been going for almost
$600 at www.gunbroker.com Hope this information helps... You can
