There is a phrase that is used often when telephone numbers are disconnected or the wrong number has been dialed. This phrase is: "Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and try again."

were sorry but your call cannot be completed as dialed. please try again.
It means you have either dialed a dissconnected number or you are trying to make a long distance call and you forgot to dial a 1 or a 0 plus the area code of the number you are calling.
we're sorry your call could not be completed as dialed please check the number and dial again or call an operator to help you.
Unfortunately the phone number you have dialed is the only number available. Please keep trying to call or leave a voice mail if you cannot reach me at this number.
It sounds like there was a glitch in the switch. The telephone switch didn't recognize the number that you dialed and played the wrong error recording. If the problem persists, call the phone company and ask to report a technical fault.
Why should I help you?! It's my index number that cannot be found!
Tell me. You cannot tell me it is ok. By
