My 98 mercury mistique runs a little hot in summer.between the m and l the fan then comes on .louder than it used to be. have changed sensor.Also oil leks into spark plugs.?

as long as the gauge hand stays in between n and l it is nomal if the fan kicks on,as for the oil on the plugs you have a valve cover leak.
