No one on Answers.com can answer that question for you. You need to talk it over with your family, decide what you would want to do in either branch, and most importantly; go and talk to recruiters from both. They would be especially helpful. Good luck.

This is a matter of personal preference and what you are looking for in your jobs... If you want to be an officer persay, and go through one of the military academies, then I highly suggest the Air Force, as USAFA (United States Air Force Academy) has better educational opportunities and etc. in my opinion. If you want to fly (which also requires you to be an officer) then I also suggest the Air Force, as you will work with more hi-tech equipment and fly the best aircraft around. I can't offer much advice on if you enlist, but I know the Air Force typically has a higher Standard of Living, and they have the shortest or second shortest deployments. Both are great services and either one is great...

I saw you also had Navy SEALs as a category underneath your question. If what you are asking is "Which special ops of these services should I join?" then this is VERY preference-based. The Air Force has 3 Special Ops career fields. You expressed interest in the SEALs, which is a hard combat job, then you'd most likely be looking at the Air Force Combat Controllers. Both are very cool jobs, and they have different missions, although the Air Force CCT's do deploy with SEALs, along with Rangers, Army SF's, and Marine Recons. I'd go with the Air Force still, but both have VERY, VERY demanding training. The SEALs have about a 70-75% attrition (washout) rate, the Air Force guys having around a 90% washout rate... Good luck with which ever service you choose to try and serve in, or if just curious, then good luck in life ;).

Hope I helped!
