The map you're probably looking at is a flat map with emphasis on the Northern Hemisphere. And the map probably does not display latitude to 90 degrees South Latitude.

If you look at a globe -- a round map -- you'll have a better chance of determining the relative size of continents.

What is the biggest landmark in the Antarctic?

If you believe that a landmark is a natural feature visible from a distance that can be used for navigation/ way finding, you may be able to find several on the continent. For example, you can see the Ross Ice Shelf, which is about 600 Kilometers -- 370 miles -- long with height of between 50 and 160 ft. Antarctica is as large as USA and Mexico combined, so depending on the direction from which you approach the continent and the geography where you've chosen to visit, you may be able to see other landmarks. Primarily, since the continent is surrounded by the Southern Ocean, any land you see could be considered a 'landmark' for the continent of Antarctica.
