On a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 when it is put into 4 weel drive what would make the front wheels lock up when making a turn?

Best Answer

4wd will slip a little when turning from outside wheel travel further then inside wheel.
If they are locking up I would say different gear ratio front to rear or tire size not matched on all four corners.
