Beleive it or not u dont need anything it is the way it needs to be so practically you can talk to it but this feature is only on some DS games like for example talking to ur dogs on nintendogs. but if u have tried that it might already be broken and there is two ways to fix this 1. there is a headphone slot in the bottom right corner some headphones have mics installed. 2.buy a new DS of course!! buy the way some thing fun to do is go to someone who doesnot know much about it and play games like that and they say it doesnt help to talk to it and u can prove them wrong by showing them!!
