A buttock is the rear end of the human. The buttock is made up of 2 slabs of fat (if you will) with a single crack dividing the cheeks. So let me break it down for you in simple terms. You just divide it up. BUTTock.

There are three of them. One is located in each front wheel opening. The upper portion of the sensor is mounted to the upper control arm and the lower portion is mounted to a bracket which is mounted to the inner wheel apron. In order to change/lower the ride height in the front of the car you have to COMPRESS or shorten the sensor by moving the lower portion of the sensor UPWARDS. This is done by loosening the bolt that holds the bracket which is monted to the wheel apron and moviing it up and then tightening the bolt again. YOU MUST BE CERTAIN THAT YOU HAVE A LEVEL CAR ONCE YOU MOVE THESE BRACKETS AROUND and then you have to have the casr realigned or you will wear tires and cause excessive stress on the front suspension components... The rear sensor is on the left rear of the car and the lower portion of the sensor is mounted to the left lower control arm and the upper portion is mounted to a bracket which is bolted to the inner car body. In order to change/lower the ride height of the rear you must EXTEND the sensor by moving the upper mounting bracket UP. Again, an alignment must be done to avoid stress on susension parts and excessive and improper tire wear.
