Yes it has been a problem area in these trucks although I thought it was resolved in the later versions.
Some of the guys on the forum have tried and been successful and others have had issues aligning the thing afterwards. Personnaly I would bite the bullet and let thedealer do it and make sure the truck was back up and running in a day.
