change the relay and drain refill with a cleaner then drain again and refill with anifreeze and water.
check head gaskets??? I'm assuming you have a 3.3 or 3.5 engine --- did you "burp" the system once you replaced the thermostat? It not, you might still not be getting coolant flows. There is a tiny valve on the thermostat housing and you will need to open it up and add coolant until it flows out the value --- might have to put some pressure to the coolant reserve tank to force it through --- but once it flows out the valve, tighten it back up and try again.
Guess that wasn't it, huh? Sorry, no offense intended. Is the coolant full? is the thermostat working, heater core plugged? Need more info to go further, what else has been replaced? why did you replace the heater control valve? based on what?
THIS IS A COMMON FAULT ON FIESTA'S THERE IS A HEATER CONTROL VALVE INSIDE THE ENGINE BAY JUST BELOW THE CENTRE OF THE WINDSCREEN WHICH HAS THE COOLANT PIPES CONECTED TO IT. IT IS A CHEAP PART TO REPLACE AND IS EASY TO FIT.
System airbound? Coolant level? Temperature control cable?
Check the heater valve and/or the controls to the valve. maybe a problem with the controls, most of them are run off of vacuum, if a hose has a hole in it, it wont work
hi, could be many answers. Check the water contol valve operation ( under hood connected to heater hoses), do you have a full load of coolant?, also air mix door under dash, is the temp of the coolant hot?.Check them all out, you'll find it
Low coolant? Plugged, restricted, or air bound heater core? Bad thermostat? Water pump not circulating coolant? Temperature control cable/valve not adjusted properly?
Thermostat stuck open, clogged heater core, heater flow valve not functioning, or low of coolant.
New flush valve may be needed.
The Villager engine does not have a coolant bleed valve.
valve cover gasket
Open the drain out valve at the bottom of the radiator to allow the coolant to run out. Replace the valve and add the fresh coolant.
