Well, difficult situations like this can definitely be confusing. You have to respect her for what she wants and if that's just to be friends then you'll have to get over some things. Whatever you do, don't jepardize your close friendship for any selfish desire. There is always the option of sweeping her off her feet, but in all reality that doesn't happen too often. If i were you i would just come to the fact that you are just friends and that's the wy she wants it.
