Most boys find that their penis grows quicker once they hit Puberty. Everyone is different and so we all hit puberty at different ages to our friends. This will be why you see many different sizes in the changing rooms when dressing after sports, and all the boys are a similar age.

The penis grows naturally, depending on testosterone, genes and healthy diet. Some may say not to restrict growth with tight underwear. It continues to grow right through puberty and slightly beyond, usually up until around 20-years-old.

The average adult erect penis size is 6 inches long. This means that some men will have longer penises and others shorter. It is not unknown for some men to have a penis as long as 10 inches when erect and some only 1 or 2 inches erect. By the time some males reaches 20-years-old they have caught up with their peers and end up similar in size.

Also, it is good to know that some males have a shorter flaccid size penis but when erect it reaches the average size. Some males having a longer flaccid penis find during an erection it hardly grows at all.

There is a condition called micro-penis - when a penis is not an efficient length to function properly. It is rare, but if you are worried you may be so small you are having trouble even holding it then seek medical advise from your Doctor. Sometimes males that are overweight can find they have problems but this doesn't necessarily mean they have micro-penis. Much of the penis is actually inside the abdomen so having a lot of weight can disguise what is on the outside to look small.

A penis is unique to it's owner and shouldn't be ridiculed if small or big. Just as you shouldn't ridicule a person who is short or tall.

A 3 inch long penis is suitable for sexual intercourse just as much as a 10 inch long penis. The females clitoris is located at the entrance to the vagina and this is what gives her much pleasure during intercourse. The cervix is accommodating for most sizes of penis.
