Originally, things that Jehovah God provided for man to eat included only that which was grown from the earth, namely fresh fruit, raw vegetation and grains (Compare Gen 1:29; 2:15-17) However, just after the great flood of Noah's day, God pronounced a blessing upon man which included the sanction of animals to be eaten. (Compare Gen 9:1-7; Deut 12:15,16,20-27) Nevertheless, dietary restrictions were put into place to promote physical health and godly obedience. (Compare Lev 7:15-26; 11:39-47)
According to The Bible, the eating of meat is NOTsomething that God condemns. In bible times faithful ones who DID eat meat adhered to a strict code of laws. However, nowhere in the scriptures does it state that each individual MUST eat meat. Therefore it is a personal choice.
