If you are talking about defrosting a heat pump, just switch it over to cooling and run it until the ice disappears.
The water pump should be along the serpentine belt. Refer to how to change a driveline belt at this site. The water pump should be located to the right(driver side) of the vehicle and it should be at the highest position on that side.
the water pump is located or the right side of the motor . it should be right under the plas. piece.
The water pipe from the pump to the ice maker is quite thin; check it to see that it is not plugged. Check to see that there is water also at the inlet to the water pump. If there is not, check that the pipe leading to the water pump is not plugged.
The water pump is usually on the front of the engine.
frost plug is craked or leaking do not drive get fixed now
there is a bypass hose that connects to the bottom drivers side of the pump. its right next to the thermostat housing. if that popped off, it would pour coolant out. i suspect that's your problem. a water pump would have to be REALLY bad for water to pour out of it. its not impossible though. to check remove the timing cover and fill the engine with coolant through the water outlet to the radiator. that way you'll be able to see if its coming from the pump. if not there are freeze plugs on either side of the block below the exhaust manifolds, check them to see if one came out
it should be behind the water pump pulley on the lower left side when looking at it from the side of the car.
A shallow well jet pump sits on the ground next to the well. To install it, connect tubing to the intake side of the pump and put a foot valve on the end of the tubing to control the water. Lower the foot valve and tubing into the well. Remove the drain plug on the pump and pour water in it to prime it. Replace the drain plug, connect the pump to power and turn it on.
It will be all over the customer's lap.
It should be right by the water pump in front of the motor, on the passenger side of the truck.
The water pump is under the timing belt cover on the passenger side.
