Neither.

Why would you pour grease anywhere except onto absorbent material / cat litter, so that it can be safely disposed of in the garbage bin??

Get an empty can (or 2 or 3) put some litter / newspaper / paper towel / tissues (all preferably USED) in, then carefully pour in the grease.

Try to get the amount of grease proportional to the absorbency of the material, so that you end up with a fairly ''stiff'' canful.

As extra insurance against getting any on the inside of your garbage bin, put it into a plastic bag, and tie off the top.

There are two thoughts regarding grease in the drainage system

1- Old school is to use hot water BUT as the waste cools off down stream the grease deposits will adhere to the internal piping causing a severe reduction in flow

2- New school says use cold water when Jetting the grease will break off in chunks and flow harmlessly down stream as FOG floats

3- Personally I like using cold water to remove grease deposits then use 140 Deg. F to scour the piping to restore full flow as originally designed BUT this takes longer and cost a lot more

How does sodium hydroxide work to remove the grease in drain cleaners?

The sodium hydroxide turns the grease into soap, which is soluble in water (the grease isn't). When water is flushed down the drain, the soap gets taken with it, and removes the grease causing the blockage.

How do you dilute bacon grease?

what you do when you have bacon grease is while it is still aliquidity. (not a solid put the grease in a metal mixing bowl and run it under some hot water. let the grease and the water mix for a little bit and then pour it down the drain while the hot water is running. after all the grease is down the drain. let the HOT water run for 1 minuet. that's how you delude bacon grease and get it down the drain without clogging your sink.

Why do you not use water to put out fat fire?

You never use water to put out a fat fire, because the pouring water on burning grease or oil will not extinguish the fire. It will only cause the burning oil to splash, spreading the grease fire around.

What should one do if the drain pipe is all clogged up?

If a drain is suspected of being clogged with hair, if there is any Nair around, it can be poured down the drain. Let it sit for about a half hour, and then flush with hot water, to remove the clog. If it is suspected that there is a grease buildup in the drain, a few cups of dawn (grease cutting) will do the trick. Pour it in the drain, let it sit for a few hours, then flush with hot water.

What are the things that can go down the drain?

Things that can safely go down the drain include water, soap, shampoo, and toothpaste. Other items, such as food scraps, grease, oil, and chemicals should not be poured down the drain as they can cause clogs, damage the plumbing system, or contaminate the water supply.

Why is water pouring out from ac unit?

When the unit cools the air, the water vapor in the air condenses to form water. If the unit is in good repair, the water is piped to a suitable place of disposal, into the ground or into a drain system.

When you shut up ac of your car water is getting drain this is ok or not?

If your ac is working well and is on in humid weather it will dehumidify the air and can drain quite a bit of water which you can see especially well when stopping the car it will drain underneath the car usually near the firewall in the desert when dry it might not drain at all but the more humid the more water, it can seem to just be pouring out!
