Nothing, it is impossible to breed two bulls together. However, when either of these is a female the offspring would just be called a cross bred animal. A similar circumstance is when you cross a Hereford with a Charolais.

What bull can you use to your black brangus to get a black baldy?

You can use a Simmental (white-faced one) or a Hereford. Hereford over Brangus would probably give you the best in terms of heterosis.

How do you get a black calf with a white face?

You can either buy one--off a local producer who sells such calves or from your local salebarn--or you can get one yourself by breeding an Angus cow with a Hereford bull (or a Hereford cow with an Angus bull). Even breeding a modern-type Simmental cow with an Angus bull (or vice versa) will get you a black-baldy calf.

What can cows be cross bred too?

That all depends on what breed they are and where you are located, as well as what kind of calves your local markets are demanding. If they are Angus cows they can be cross bred to a Brahman, Hereford or Shorthorn bull. If they are Charolais cows, they can be bred to a Red Angus, Angus, Hereford, Simmental, Shorthorn, Limousin, Brahman or Santa Gertrudis bull.

What are the names of a male simmental cow?

A "male cow" is called a bull if it's intact (has testicles) or a steer if it has been castrated. A "male simmental cow" is simply called a Simmental bull or Simmental steer if either of the above physiological characteristics are present or not.

How much does a white face cow weigh?

It all depends on what you are referring to as a "white face" cow: Are you referring to a: Simmental? Hereford? Simmental cross? Hereford cross? or... The famous Angus x Hereford black baldy? No matter, a beef cow of the typical breeds above weighs between 1100 and 1700 lbs. Simmentals are typically bigger than the Herefords and Hereford crosses, so some Simmental cows can reach up to 1800 lbs where the big Herefords only reach up to 1600 lbs.

What is the best cross shorthorn bull on hereford cow or hereford bull on a shorthorn cow?

Both will work just fine. Neither cross will have the desired heterosis like Hereford on Angus or Hereford on Charolais will.

Will hereford cow calve a limousin calf?

No. A Hereford cow will only give birth to a Hereford-Limousin cross calf if bred to a Limousin bull. Only a Limousin cow can give birth to a Limousin calf--IF she's bred to a Limousin bull. Just like a Hereford cow can only give birth to a Hereford calf if bred to a Hereford bull. Otherwise, she too (referring to the Limousin cow) can give birth to Hereford-Limousin-cross calf if bred to a Hereford bull.

Is a cow the same colour as a raven?
