mostly in North America
The Amazon River is located in the continent of South America.
New Zealand is in the Australian and Pacific region. New Zealand is a group of islands lying about 2000 km SE from Australia. New Zealand lies on a mostly submerged continent nowadays called Zealandia. It is separated from Australia and the Australian Plate by the Tasman Sea.
Both continents are located in what is called the Western Hemisphere. North America is the continent where it's northernmost islands are within the Arctic Circle, and extends south to near the Tropic of Cancer. Central America is the thin strip of land that conjoins North America to South America and runs through the Tropic of Cancer. South of that is South America, which has a similar shape to that of Africa except there is no significant horn on the eastern edge of the continent. The Equator runs through the northern part of South America, through the northern part of Brazil and southern part of Columbia. The Tropic of Capricorn runs through the southern half of the continent. The southernmost tip of South America is near Antarctica, but never close enough to be near the Antarctic Circle or South Pole. If you want a short answer, look at a world map! See the related link below for such a picture.
Most of South America is south of the equator and therefore in the Southern hemisphere. Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana and Suriname are completely north of the equator. Brazil, Colombia and Equador are divided by the equator. The other South American countries (Peru, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia and Falkland Islands) lie south of the equator

South America is mostly in the southwestern hemisphere.
The continent that is (mostly) in the southern hemisphere and is also in the western hemisphere (hence, in the south-western quadrant) is South America.
For non polar zones: Glacier Fedchenko in Tajikistan, Asia.
Mostly the southern, but note that everything north of Equidor is in the northern hemisphere.
Assuming you mean the US and not the continent of America then it is the US Mail USPS
The largest rainforest is the Amazon rainforest, which lies mostly in Brazil. So the answer to your question is South America.
