It could. The formaldehyde smell is usually from outgassing from formaldehyde used in the manufacture of some of the materials used to line the safe- foam padding, carpeting, etc. The smell SHOULD go away with some ventilation for a while. Do not know the date of your question (part of a pile of older questions that the computer dredged up) but it is now 2012- a safe bought 3 years ago should not be outgassing at this time. Would try leaving the door open with a small fan blowing into the safe for a few days, and see if that fixes the matter.
"Ordor" is likely a misspelling of "odor," which refers to a scent or smell, typically one that is unpleasant.
Plutonium has not an odor.

Presumably you mean 'odour' (though 'ordor' as a neologism based on 'odour' and 'ordure' is not without relevance!) - if so, are you looking for the word 'skunk'?

Bacteria causes odor. That's why you should wash after sex.
