First of all, don't ever date someone out of guilt, especially a friend that you've only considered a FRIEND.
The world goes on, he'll eventually see that you're not the one for him and he'll move on. Hopefully if you sit down with him and talk about how you feel about your relationship, it will make it a bit easier for him to let go.
*be careful HOW you let him know you value your relationship and care about him because he may get the wrong idea and fall even harder for you, especially if you're the one girl who truly cares for him.
