check the fuses
how do headlights operate? how do headlights operate?
I would first check all fuses. My 2002 uses a weird configuration and requires several fuses to work all of the lights properly.
The fuses are located under the hood beside the battery.
Check the fuse.
Check your ground wire, all the lights must be grounded back to the vehicle.
All lights are fused except for the headlights and the switch has a built in circuit breaker. The fuse panel is under the dash to the left of the steering column.
If the headlights on the 2004 GMC Envoy are not working, there could be a loose connection somewhere. If all of the other lights are working, it is most likely not a fuse that has blown. Double check the wiring to see if there is a loose connection.
all my lights work except my break lights, when i push on the peddle they dont go on can you help me?
Me too on a 2001 Sequoia. Drives fine, headlights, parking lights and dash lights work but that's it. Backup lights, air conditioner controls, all gauges, all indicator lights on dash all dead - all at the same time.
Check the bulbs and check the fuses.
You probably have a loose wire connection in the brake light sockets. Insert a nail or probe tip into the back of the light socket where the wires are inserted and test the brake lights. (The socket can appear perfectly normal and the wires may even seem well attached.)
GO AND BUY I NEW light bulb !
