Best Answer

yes he is crazy because he shot his self in the head and killed many people for no reason

This is an uninformed opinion.

Hitler showed many signs of a sociopath, early life, and psychopath, later life, but was he?

It is known that he had a pretty serious meth problem, and that he had Parkinson's disease. In fact, he sped up his original plans for hostilities because of his declining health. That sound like the thought process of a crazy person?

If you want a real peak inside his mind, try reading Mein Kampf, which is a book wrote by Hitler while imprisoned.

We like to say he was crazy because of what happened to the Jews. We don't like to admit that we were doing some pretty horrible things in this country to people of race. From attempts to sterilize people of color, to just keeping them in poverty, to flat out torturing and killing them. And lets not forget about America's concentration camps full of Japanese people.

Hitler wasn't so different after all.

Despite all the popular fiction there are no known health records that suggest he had any mental illness. However it could be argued that he was, by killing millions of people expressing symptoms of being a sociopath.

Hitler is dead. Insanity is a property of the living .

who ever wrote this i understand what they are saying but of course he was mad he killed six million Jews at the least in world war two so he must be mad yeah well i think that he was definatly mad.

I believe the man was power hungry, but not crazy. He wanted to unite the world and did not know how to do that properly. The real question is if a man has ambitions, does that make him insane or sane?

I'm not sure but I got this off another website so...

First of all, "go mad" is a sloppy term. Certainly the things Hitler did were evil, and the sheer scope of his evil accomplishments (and those of his cronies at the top of the Nazi Party) is enough to make any right-thinking person blanch. But doing evil things doesn't necessarily prove a person is mad. Lots of people commit murder in this world, and we can't simply write them all off as insane.

But let's say, for the sake of argument, that we accept the argument that it would be impossible to order and consent to atrocities on such a scale without there being something /kaput im Kopf/ (broken in the head). Then we have to ask two things:

1) What exact mental malady did Hitler suffer from?

2) Was the cause purely biological, like a disease or genetic defect? (For instance, syphilis can cause certain mental problems, such as personality changes and memory loss.) Or was there instead something in Hitler's upbringing and experience that sent him down the wrong path, so to speak, with nothing arising to correct his course? For instance, something in his religious upbringing? Some people have speculated that aspects of German culture and family life of the time promoted Hitler's personality. There are many possibilities.

Anyway, point is: no easy answer. People have been debating this one for years, in fact.

By the way, one thing to remember is that Hitler's hatred wasn't directed only at Jews. He also had Catholics, Gypsies, and suspected homosexuals sent to the gas chambers as well. His aim was the "purification" of the German race, and that meant eliminating anything that he thought "polluted" it. Check out the articles below.

Hitler had many unusual concerns. A few are : his Father beat him when he was young. He had a drug problem that resulted from taking them to stay awake ( he was afraid his men would kill him if he slept) and by the end he had Parkisons Disease.
