From the pictures I've seen once both men were fully grown in height, it appears the Joe Jr. was just slightly shorter than JFK. JFK was 6'0 in height and I think Joe Jr. was probably about 5'11.5". Joe Jr was about as tall or slightly taller as their dad Joe Kennedy Sr. which was 5'11.
Joe Jr was always bigger and stronger than Jack and had broader shoulders. Half an inch is really not much because although 6'0 is considered the beginning of being tall, there are many men that are 5'11" that can be considered tall as well by their posture and their build.
Caroline Kennedy was the daughter of John F. Kennedy

'Jack' is a common nickname for someone whose name is 'John.'
Joe Kennedy is 6 feet 4 inches tall. He weighs 227 pounds. He bats right and throws left.
.John Kennedy had three brothers - an older brother Joseph P. Kennedy Jr who died in 1944 in WWII, a younger brother Senator Robert F. Kennedy (d. 1968) and the youngest child of the family was his brother Senator Edward "Ted" M. Kennedy (d. 2009)The two younger brothers, Robert F. Kennedy and Edward M. Kennedy both held prominent positions in the federal government. Robert was headed for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1868 when he was assassinated. Ted seemed likely to made a run for the presidency until he was driving in a car accident that resulted in the death of his female companion and raised many unpleasant questions.
JFK was not an inventor. He was a politician and president. His father Joe Kennedy raised him and his older brothers to go into politics. When his older brother Joe Kennedy, Jr. died it became John's place to become president. His older brother was suppose to run for the office. The senior Kennedy wanted to make sure that one of the boys was the first Irish Catholic president.
