∙ 14y agoThe incident at Roswell was not a fake as such; it was simply the removal and coverup of a prototype spy balloon device, from a project called MOGUL. About 40 years later some guy spun a yarn, with no actual evidence of course, that what was recovered was an alien spacecraft. A lot of other headline hounds joined in... you would think this isolated spot in the middle of nowhere was Grand Central Station! Some people like to pretend that some of our technology came from the wreck, but transistors were patented, and ignored, in the 1920's. And DuPont was making Lucite optical fibers in the Thirties! It is fun to *pretend* that Roswell was an alien spacecraft crash, but until something solid, not tall tales, comes along, there is no reason to *believe* it.
The answer to this question is based purely on your opinion, there is evedince saying something crashed there but if you do not belive in alines then you are not going to belive Roswells' tales.
