Herro. Why? Because he ridded slaves of their owners. If he didn't do that, are you have today? If slavery didn't end, are you sure that you're not a slave now? Some people said that he was a hero, but some else said that he was a terrorist. He was a terrorist just because he killed the owners? He killed them because of slaves. He wanted the slavery to be end.
One man's terrorist may be another man's hero, but nothing in subsequent history can justify the arming of slaves for a nationwide rebellion. It was a totally irresponsible act, which made Abolitionism look like a movement for violent revolution, and it made constructive dialogue between the two sides even more difficult to achieve. Some have called Brown's 1859 raid the first battle of the Civil War.
It was made up of three people all going for the same thing. They are: Joseph E. Brown Alfred H. Colquitt John B. Gordon
Joseph E. Brown Alfred H. Colquitt John B. Gordon
he was a hero
A badman terrorist who used to go to Arnold hill.
Radical Islamist terrorist groups have continued to launch attacks around the world ;)
To the Abolitionists, he as a Hero and Martyr. To the Southern slave owners, he was a Terrorist (to use an anachronistic contemporary term).
he was john brown so he told lies
john brown became hero of the state
John Brown was a radical and a murderer who was made a martyre by radical abolitionists.
i believe it was President Pierce. Because the Kansas Nebraska Act happened before "Bleeding Kansas" led by John Brown. BTW John Brown is a terrorist who deserved hanging, not a fan of John Brown.
He would be either a terrorist or a freedom-fighter, depending whether you were on his side.
Yes because he was going to steal guns from the armory and give them to the slaves. This would scare the South.
The John Brown's war was not a good war it is what sparked the Civil War. This started in the year 1859.
John Brown was considered an abolitionist hero of the first magnitude and a treasonous rebel by the federal govt.
John Brown is a fairly common name, but the most famous "John Brown" was an abolitionist before the Civil War who was a terrorist before his time.He is not the "Brown" (whose first name was Oliver) involved in Brown v. Board of Education, the Supreme Court decision the struck down the "separate but equal" treatment of segregated schools before 1954.
The cast of Her Hero - 1911 includes: John Bunny as Mr. Brown Maurice Costello Flora Finch as Mrs. Brown Etienne Girardot Mary Maurice Norma Talmadge
Northern abolitionists - a growing body, but still a small minority.
