In answer to the question : Was Metropolitian Arms double barrel shotguns made by Savage?
From what info I can find at this time , they were manufacture'ed
by the Crescent Firearms Co. from about the early 1890's to the 1930's.
Then it was absorbed by H. D . Folsum in 1893, then by J . Stevens Arms &
Tool Co. of Massachusetts in 1932.
This gun was of low - to - medium priced and was manufactute'ed on a large scale. I hope that this has in some way been of help to you.
