no. the line of saber-toothed and dirk-toothed cats have all become extinct. they were less intelligent and less adaptable then the modern day big cats or panthera line which are the tiger, lion, leopard and jaguar. coupled with the changing environment and mass megafauna extinction of prey animals at the end of the last ice-age, competition with other hunters, the introduction of human peoples into the americas, they were simply "out evolved," by the other predators of the time. The modern day clouded leopard does have the longest canines in relation to body size of any existing feline but they are not a direct descendent of the saber or dirk toothed cats.
