We are using the bulbs since a long time for lighting our factory Now the management has decided to replace them with CFL or LED lights to save energy. Will it be a good step in financial terms?

It is a good decision taken by the management to replace the light bulbs in the factory. Yes, in the first term it will be quite expensive in installing it, but it will turn out to be beneficial in the long run. Because, these energy saving bulbs like CFL and LED uses very low energy compared to ordinary bulbs, they lasts very long and also they are environment friendly. So by looking at these merits, it will be wiser to soon replace the old bulbs into energy saving bulbs.
