Technically - Yes you do and you may get into trouble if you don't have a permit.

But why should that stop you? So long as your polite, the most you will get is asked to move along.

Theoretically if you place your stand on land that is owned by the town, city or state, you need a permit.

The laws and by-laws are different in every city, state and country, and you will need to speak to City Hall if you want to secure a pass.

That being said, Police often turn the other cheek with these businesses, especially if they are run by minors.

Another thing to remember - If you place your stand on property that is privately owned, you do not need a permit, but you do need permission from the owner of the land.

If you do it on your own private land, you do not need a permit.

well what i think is if you have a busy st. or if you dont go to one of your relatives (with a busy st.)oh and if you have a lemonade stand do in a driveway
