Starting with local businesses around 37 global cities--in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France and the U.K., had the interiors photographed for view in Google Maps or Google Earth. Since then, Museums around the world have been photographed and added to Google's Street view with virtual tours.

if you read the manuel, they've listed the buildings you can see your sim go into. basically, most of the buildings aren't visible on the inside. pretty lame, i know. maybe when they create expansions they'll actually show the insides. hope i helped. actualy, if you press the tab button, and take your sim inside, then you can enter the building and see inside
