Infra-sonic refers to sound frequencies below the lowest human hearing range so are around 15Hz or lower.
Many aquatic animals are able to sense low frequencies as a warning of approaching predators for example. Vibrations set up by fish or other marine dwellers travel for great distances.
On land, many mammals are reported to react to very low frequency sounds such as those preceding earthquakes.
Elephants use low frequency calls that travel for many mile to other elephants, mostly at frequencies below the range of human hearing.
Animals like rhinoceroses, elephants , whales can hera the infrasonic sounds while animals like dog, bat, rat, cat, deer and monkey can hear the ultrasonic sounds.

there are many animals which can hear as well as produce infrasonic waves .
Eg.
Whales, Rhinos, Giraffes, Hippos, Elephants, Peacocks.
animals which can hear infra sound are - snakes, whale fish, etc
an elephant can hear subsonic even ultrasonic
animals like dog, fishes and whales can hear infrasound
Elephants
deer
Animals that can hear infrasonic sounds are; frogs snakes ants dogs fishes whales beetles pigeons Usally, small animals can hear infrasonic sounds because they catches low frequency sound which is less than 20 Hz, especially insects. You may have observed that even if you walk very softly on the floor, animals like dogs feels your coming because they can hear infrasonic sounds.
We cannot hear earthquakes from our ears. It is because the waves produced are infrasonic.
With special technology, yes
The cattle's ability to hear infrasonic frequencies contributes to a stampede because these sounds are not heard by the cattle drivers and they are not able to react prior to the stampede. The continued sounds cause the cattle to keep running.
Sound waves at frequencies lower than humans can hear.
Human ears can hear frequencies between about 20 and 20,000 Hz, so anything below 20 is infrasonic, and anything above 20,000 Hz (20 kHz) is ultrasonic.
Infrasonic waves are waves which are below humans hearing range while ultrasonic waves are waves which human beings can hear. Example-bat,dog etc and human beings (respectively)

Any frequency that is lower than those that humans can hear - that is, lower than about 20 Hz.
infrasonic
Before an eruption, the Earth's surface starts vibrating. This vibration causes infrasonic sound waves which are below the audible range of human hear (i.e. 20Hz-20kHz). But some animals can hear these infrasonic waves and are aware of the danger. So they start moving in a direction opposite to the source of these waves. Birds take to the air.
Pigeons can hear frequencies as low as .1 Hz, or one vibration every ten seconds! This allows pigeons to hear the infrasonic sounds of ocean waves breaking on the coastline. By positioning their flight path according to coastlines, pigeons can accurately navigate long migrations.
