There are two major issues confronting Judaism at present:
1 - the ever present worry about Israel, and specifically the fact that Iran keeps threatening to destroy the Jewish state. If Iran does manage to get hold of nuclear weapons, the threat to Israel will become even more acute.
2 - there is a massive problem in that numerous Christian Evangelists now go round posing as Messianic 'Jews' and claiming that 'real Jews worship christ'. Then, when genuine Jews point out this is not true, the Messianics claim they are 'imposters' or even 'liars'!
The Messianic movement was started by Christians and is funded by Evangelical Churches. It has nothing to do with Judaism and its' members are not, and never were, Jews, at any point in time. A tiny number of EX Jews, that converted to Christianity, are part of the Messianic movement, but as they are practising Christians, they are lying when they claim to still be 'Jews'.
The Messianic groups are spending literally billions on a massive conversion drive to try and convince Jews that they 'can worship Jesus and remain Jewish'. This is NOT true. Worship of any human = idolatry for Jews and violates Judaism totally.
