A rabbit has sharp front claws (used to pounce) and powerful, sharp back feet. Unless you cut them often. Of course they bite. I've seen a fight, tried to intervene and then got bitten. It REALLY hurts, it tore off my skin. They still are prey to fowls of the air, because they have no air defense. There is also dogs and coyotes they're just too big to defend off. So keep them away, that's all my advice.
Male rabbits will fight one another, but females will run away, whilst their boyfriend fights for them :P The main reason rabbits fight, anyway, is because they're fighting for a female, so feel flattered, you females out there :P

since rabbits are a shy species they usually like to run and hid in trees. but if they are provoked then the rabbit, if male, usually scratches with its semi-poisonous claws. if its blood pressure i above normal then its liver creates a venom like substance which is then transfered to the claws and teeth. when aggrivated rabbits fur can stand up to 5.76 inches high and its teeth grow since the adrenaline rush

Rabbits mainly rely on their speed and agility for defense. Camouflage also plays a big role. In northern, snowy climates the rabbits have evolved with white fur, contrasted by brown rabbits in the desert. As for Offense, they have none; they are herbivores.
