The layers of the Earth are the inner core, the outer core, the mantle, the crust, and the atmosphere. The layers of the atmosphere are the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, ionosphere, and exosphere.
Atmosphere
From the ground up the Earth's atmosphere consists of the following layers: troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, exosphere, and the magnetosphere. After that it's just space.
the layers of the atmosphere in order are troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, and exosphere
The four layers that constitute the earths atmosphere in order from space to the earths surface are as follows: Inosphere (aka. Aurora) @ 350km, Mesosphere @ 90-350km, Stratosphere @ 50-90km, and Troposhere @18-50km. It's composition is 79% Nitrogen, 20% Oxygen, and 1% other gases.
The 5 layers of the atmosphere are the Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere, and the Exosphere. Troposphere is closest to earth...its also where we live, stratosphere is where our equator is located, mesosphere is the coldest of them all, thermosphere is the hottest, and then the exosphere is farthest from the earth.

Exosphere. The layers of the atmosphere are: Space Exosphere Thermosphere Mesosphere Stratosphere Troposphere Earth
the earth is in space but their are layers of atmosphere surrounding us from the fatal environment of space air-go (therefore) we must break free of the atmosphere to get to space. it's a hard concept to understand

I do not believe so. On Earth, we have special layers of atmosphere that separate us from space. On the moon, there are none.

The http://wiki.answers.com/earth/Atmosphere/overview.htmlis divided into five layers. It is thickest near the surface and thins out with height until it eventually merges with space.1) The http://wiki.answers.com/earth/Atmosphere/troposphere.htmlis the first layer above the surface and contains half of the Earth's atmosphere. http://wiki.answers.com/earth/Atmosphere/weather.htmloccurs in this layer.2) Many jet aircrafts fly in the http://wiki.answers.com/earth/Atmosphere/stratosphere.htmlbecause it is very stable. Also, the ozone layer absorbs harmful rays from the Sun.3) Meteors or rock fragments burn up in the http://wiki.answers.com/earth/Atmosphere/mesosphere.html.4) The http://wiki.answers.com/earth/Atmosphere/thermosphere.htmlis a layer with auroras. It is also where the space shuttle orbits.5) The atmosphere merges into space in the extremely thin http://wiki.answers.com/earth/Atmosphere/exosphere.html. This is the upper limit of our atmosphere.
