Daft Punk can remove their masks, yes. On their jackets, around their collars, there is a zipper, which shows it can be taken off. It most likely takes quit a while for them to take off all of their accessories, and they probably have the sweat washed out of the fabric, for how hot their suits are. But, despite they've much in common with robots, they are really human after all.
