One of the main foreshadowing elements in "The Chronicles of Narnia" is the wardrobe itself. Upon first entering Narnia through the wardrobe, the children stumble upon a new world full of magical creatures and adventures, setting the stage for the whimsical and fantastical journey ahead. Additionally, the wise and mysterious figure of Aslan, who appears sporadically throughout the story, foreshadows pivotal events and symbolizes guidance and redemption for the characters.
well the most obvious and direct allusion (and coincidentally, my favorite) is that of Aslan representing Jesus Christ.
There are many, many more....
Acctually both of those are examples of symbolism, i cant think of any allusions of the top of my head, but it is specifically mentioning something, like "The game began, and before long it was obvious that they were worse than the Chicago Cubs" (no offense meant).
Foreshadowing occurs usually at the end of a paragraph, chapter, or book. It's usually a phrase like "I never saw it coming" or "She would never know how wrong she was" or something of that nature indicating that something will go wrong/right in the near future.
"But it would not be the last time he longed for his hobbit hole."
"The Chronicles of Narnia" in Latin is "Chronicus Narniae." In English, the translation of "Chronicus Narniae" is "The Chronicles of Narnia."
