It would be best to generalize, as each Canadian province and city has its own offerings to culture, beauty, and awe-inspiring accomplishments. Many tourists come to visit certain cities, to check out the food, the night life, the culture and the overall atmosphere. A second reason to visit Canada is the nature; every province in Canada has its own special landscape, literally thousands upon thousands of kilometers of lakes, forests, fields, mountains, etc., with varying degrees of accessibility depending on how much of a challenge or a vacation one is looking for. Activities such as cross-country biking, hiking, boating, canoeing, camping, hunting, fishing, skiiing, etc., in some of the world's most gorgeous and magnificent nature are a big draw.
Festivals are another reason to visit Canada. Whether it is Vancouver's unmatched fireworks competition "The Festival of Lights", the Calgary Stampede, The Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, the Quebec Winter Carnival, etc., Canadian cities each have a big event that creates a bigger draw every year. Finally, Canadians natural and man-made landmarks are worth seeing. Whether it is driving the Cabot Trail, viewing the awesome power of Niagara Falls, checking out the CN Tower, visiting colonial forts and museums, or touring wine country in British Columbia there's always something to see.
