Apart from the occasional stray, Great Danes are kept as pets. And are as such protected against predators by their owners. There is no other animal species that regularly preys on Great Danes.

There are many "facts" about Great Danes and I do not know your interests, so here are a few random facts.

Great Danes are large, very strong dogs which can grow for a full three years. They are often about a yard tall at the shoulders and can weigh between 32 and 37 inches, with some even larger. 195 pound sis not all that unusual. They have long, muscular legs, but their length causes their legs to be very delicate and easy to break. GDs don't just love to be with people, they need to be with their people and can be very distressed when left alone. They are among the most loyal of Dog Breeds and are great judges of character in people they meet. They are often very easy to train, but require serious training as puppies due their great size as adults. In spite of their great size, they are generally indoor dogs and can actually be good apartment dogs. Though indoor dogs, they need long walks for exercise because of their high energy levels.

They were bred to hunt boar. That is why their ears were originally cropped, to prevent them from being bit and torn.
The Great Dane was primarily bred for hunting wild boar and later bred as a form of guard dog. They are not Danish at all, and most likely originated in England and then were refined in Germany as a breed.

Great Danes were used for hunting boars in the 17th-18th century in England. They are well known for their large stature, and are referred to as "The World's Largest Lap Dogs" because they are so loyal and cunning. Now, people usually have great danes for protection and companions
