Pretty much always. Look, even when you aren't being stolen from, it doesn't quite add up. By the time fees, memberships, access passes...and then what are you getting for "a dollar"?
It's funny, while telling everyone what great savings are to be had, they are simultaneously offering other people fabulous money making opportunities by running one of these stores!
A store can be losing it's shirt giving the customer a good deal, or making a fortune gouging customers. Not both.
