Actually, I think the best way is to get him drunk, make a sexual advance on him and ask him if he likes you while looking in his eyes. Then it'll be out in the open to your mutual benefit! But be warned; he probably won't tell you the truth if he's sober and/or if he thinks nothing will happen between you. Therefore the sexual advance first (sitting on his lap, facing him or brush your hand up his leg or something like that)
