Well, for starters, you should know how to spell pediatrician correctly. :)

I'm not sure where you are in your education, so lets assume you've just gotten out of high school. In short, you need 8-12 years of school beyond high school. Details below

1) You will need to attend a 4-year university and fulfill the prerequisites for medical school. These pre-requisites usually include 1 year of chemistry, 1 year of organic chemistry, 1 year of physics, 1 year of math, biochem, Biology etc. (this varies depending on the med school).

2) You have to make sure you get good grades, especially in these science classes.

3) Study for and take the MCAT test (most people I know started studying during their 3rd year of university).

4) Have a strong background of extracurricular activities (e.g. volunteering at hospitals, clinics, etc.).

5) When you have all of the above, you are ready to apply to med school.

6) Once you're in med school, expect about 4 years of schooling and an additional 2 years of residency before you can be a doctor. Since you want to go into pediatrics, you'll need a few additional years of school in order to specialize.

If you've one all of the above, finding a job as a pediatrician should be a breeze.
