What types of food do people from New Jersey eat?

Seafood, in particular clams. Cape May, the southern most town in New Jersey, produces more than 2/3 of all the clams eaten in the United States. If you live in the continental Unites States and eat a clam, there's approximately a 75% it came from Cape May, New Jersey. In the summer time fresh jersey tomatoes and corn on the cob are a must try. Northeastern NJ has amazing Pizza, Bagels, Delis and Italian Food. When at the beach, Salt Water Taffy is a candy invented in NJ. Also for, pork roll, scrapple, and tak-a-boost or boost. These are in the Trenton and Burlington County Areas such as Riverside.
There are a few popular foods in New Jersey which happen to be mostly Italian. These foods are: pizza, gelato, hoagies, and Italian Ice (not exactly a food).
