Selfish-- one who had no concern for others

Envious; resentful; jealous; covetous; begrudging--Cain did not submit to God. He was more concerned with the physical world; a man of the earth, the reason he sacrificed things of the earth to God instead of submission as Abel did. He chose to possess the earth.

He lacked a correct disposition toward God; He murdered his brother exacerbated by his denial of the act and giving no evidence of repentance

He failed to be generous; quick to be defensive

Angry when his offering was not received

_FOOTNOTE___________________________________________________________

Cain's antinomian nature that he kept what valued the most to him, for himself
