The Canadian Confederation of 1867 had several pros and cons. On the positive side, it united the provinces of Canada, promoting economic stability, defense, and efficient governance, while also allowing for regional autonomy. Additionally, tensions arose over language and cultural differences, leading to ongoing challenges in national unity.
