There are two movie versions of Lord of the Flies. The 1963 version, shot in Black & White, sticks fairly closely to the original story, missing out a few incidents because of time restraints. Notable differences are that Simon has very pale blonde hair in the movie but black hair in the book. Jack is quite well built in the movie but describe as being bony and skinny in the book. Piggy probably isn't as fat in the movie as he should have been. The second movie version, released in 1990, is total reworking of the story. the English schoolboys in the book become American military school cadets. There is an injured adult on the island with them, who never appeared in the book. Jack has blonde hair and Ralph has black hair, although in the book Ralph was described as being fair and Jack had red hair. The underlying symbolism of the story is completely lost and Jack is made far too likable and his reasoning for his actions seems perfectly logical. Jack in the book was an aggressive obsessive boy and his actions were not reasonable. Of the two movies the original black and white version sticks most closely to the book. The later version, by altering the plot and characters, loses much of the impact of the book and reduces the adaptation to a throw away boys' adventure story.
In the book, John Hammond dies at the end. Dr. Malcolm also dies (although he somehow miraculously returns in the sequel novel). Gennaro, the lawyer, lives in the book, while he dies on the toilet in the movie.
In the book, Timmy is the older brother and Lex is the younger sister, while in the movie it's the other way around. I THINK (although I may be misremembering) that in the book the power goes out in the whole park twice, while in the movie it only happens once.
There's also a terrific scene where one of the tyrannosaurs (there's two in the book, an adult and a juvenile) chases Dr. Grant, Lex, and Tim down the river, and then sticks its head into the cave behind a waterfall they are hiding in.
There's also a scene at the end where they find a nest of raptors breeding in a cave on the island.
There's also an extra velociraptor scene in one of the labs, with Dr. Grant, Timmy, and Lex.
Also, the aviary scene with the pterodactyls, which appears in the third Jurassic Park movie, is actually part of the first Jurassic Park book. It's another of the scenes with Dr. Grant, Tim, and Lex.

The Book is a lot different then the Movie. The movie and the play have scenes switched around from the novel, and the novel has different names for some of the characters. The movie also has different relationships with the characters. For instance, Madame Giry is not the caretaker of Christine Daae in the novel, but a box keeper for the Phantom. There are many differences, but both are very good. :)
Michael Crichton wrote this novel. It was published in 1990 and later became a best-selling movie of the same name.
Legends of the Fall was a novel written by Jim Harrison, which was subsequently made into a movie in 1994. The novel and the movie have many similarities, but also several differences. Namely, the characters have more depth in the movie than in the book. Additionally, they engage in direct dialogue with one another, unlike the characters in the novel.
In the novel it is Mr. Goodbytes, but in the game it is Studry

Yes, there are some differences between the movie adaptation of "Charlotte's Web" and the original novel by E.B. White. The movie adds some elements and characters not present in the book, and also changes some scenes to better fit the visual medium of film. However, the core themes and messages of the story remain consistent between the two versions.
The differences are not as significant as they were with the sixth film.
