Why is the name of Jurassic Park movie wrong?

They named the movie after the park because it is the same with the book. The book, Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, also has the park named after the name of the book. So most likely Crichton asked the writers to do the same so the movie could be like the book as much as it could.

In-universe, the park was named "Jurassic Park" mainly because John Hammond- the founder of InGen and, therefore, the park- was an egotistical corporate maniac. In the novel, he was much more concerned about marketability than he was about accuracy and, let's face it, "Cretaceous Campout" doesn't have the same ring to it. In the film, Hammond was a child-like innocent who was too eager to jump into the next century without thinking about the consequences.

The title "Jurassic Park" is a direct reflection of that, considering how most of the animals in the park are, in fact, from the Cretaceous period. It is part wonder and part adventure story, but Micheal Crichton primarily intended the story as a tragedy for Mr. Hammond. Much in the spirit of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein", its all about how he wanted something, but knew so little about the process involved and, therefore, couldn't possibly predict the result.
