Eastern Orthodox view on life, simply we believe you must follow the teachings of Christ, and lives of the saints. We also believe that its better to suffer in this short live, than suffer in Hell for eternity. That brings us to the next question about the Afterlife. We believe that those who have accepted Christ as their savior, will go to Paradise. Paradise and Heaven are not the same thing. Those who have not, will be sent to Hades, or Hell. After you die, God judges you individually, but after the Second Coming, everyone, both living and dead, will be judged. They will then be sent to either Heaven or to Hell, for eternity.
