Cells are like a factory. They have a nucleus (like a boss) which is basically the control center. The gooey body of the cell is called the cytoplasm. The wall around the cell is called the cell membrane. It lets in good things, and keeps out bad things. There are many other organisms in cells, but there are the 3 main organisms. Cells also duplicate.

Blood cells travel through your veins with your blood. They make up blood, and there are about 100,000,000 cells inside your blood. The heart pumps them through the veins to other body parts.

What would happen if red blood cells were put in plasma?

Whole blood is made up of 55% plasma and 45% blood cells. The blood cells come in three different varieties, red (erythrocytes), white (leukocytes), and platelets (thrombocytes). So, red blood cells, when they are living and functioning. already are found in plasma.

How many Components of blood are there?

I think there are two main components of blood, namely the blood cells and the blood plasma. Blood itself consists of blood cells suspended in blood plasma, which is mainly water. Blood cells could further be branched into three groups, which are red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes) and platelets (thrombocytes). I also know that there are several types of white blood cells, each performing different functions in the body.
