I suppose you meant main as in primary. Fishing, logging and agriculture are the biggest ones. The biggest employer is government work, and some of the largest companies here are Bath Iron Works (naval shipbuilding; and I believe still the largest private employer in the state), Unum (insurance) and L.L.
