The lack of natural resources that affected Mesopotamians were primarily the absence of timber, stone, and metal. As a result, they had to rely on building materials like mud bricks and reeds for construction. Additionally, the scarcity of natural resources limited their ability to produce certain goods, such as metals for tools and weapons, which they had to obtain through trade or importation.

, hot material rises towards the surface and cooler material sinks back down towards the Earth's core. This is called mantle convection and is driven by the heat generated from the Earth's core and the heat released from radioactive decay within the mantle. The motion of these convection currents is responsible for plate tectonics and the movement of continents over time.

Most natural resources are dug, chopped, harvested in order to meet the demands of the consumer.
So you go into a shop and buy a pack of biscuits, they have palm oil in them . . so what?
A great deal of palm oil is grown on freshly cleared rainforest. So by buying those biscuits you are in fact killing the rainforest. But you didn't know, right?
That is why it is important to put green labels on products to tell you that the ingredients have been sourced responsibly. In this way YOU get to manage the resource.
