Some pros to becoming a marine biologist is the pay. Depending on how long you work in this career the more likely you are able get a raise and the greater your salery will be. Beginning this career you can make up to $40,000 a year. However when you are in this career for a long period of time you can make up to $100,000 a year. Also if you love water and science, then this is a perfect career for you. You can be in the ocean looking at and doing what you love to do. However there are cons that go along; such as the schooling. You will have to have years of schooling for this career. There arn't many colleges that have this major, so you will have to go to a state that does. Also travel, even if you love to travel you will get home sick. You travel to different oceans in this career. You can be a the Atlantic on week then the next be at the Pacific. I hope I helped you alittle on this job choice.
